Time-skip

Well, its been two years since i last updated it. Forgotten the link n password. Still, thanks to an old friend who was kind enough to have his blog link on facebook, i manage to find my blog through his links. Since two years have passed, a lot has happen since i last updated. Well than lets get started.

2010-
After the last post, yes, i was blur in almost all the new subjects that i had. But in the end, i liked Physics and Biology (because hating it is too mainstream). 2010 was a year kind of a turning point in my interest, frm the FPS Sudden Attack, RPGMMO Maple Story and shuffling to japanese animatino (anime) and costume play (cosplay). Speaking of anime, the only anime that i watched till then was Naruto. Before mid year i 've stated watching Bleach and One Piece.

Beginning of that year, after the last post, i signed up for a homestay program to Japan. So, as someone who is interested in Japan for quite sometime, n now into japanese animation, it was quite exciting. (Overseas with friends n no parents XD). So skipping until the Japan homestay. Since i was into anime n going to Japan, i took some japanese classes. However, i was the youngest there n had no friends so i felt really bored and quit after sometime. I still continued to self-study tho.

If i were to write everything abt the homestay, it would be longer than the Kuching post. I took over 800 photos n priceless experiences. So, it'll be all shortened. During the hols, i took a job in Pyramid as a waiter in a toilet themed restaurant called "T-Bowl". Still remember when i came in the 2nd day of work, one of my co-workers said "Eh, Jo, u're back?" It was my first job n he thinks i'm that weak? o.0 After around two week, i had to take a weeks leave as i was going to Japan.

I was staying in the suburbs of Tokyo called Nishimagome. I really felt like i was in a different world / anime. I went when it was almost winter so the weather was cold. It really felt different. Their primary (elementry) school students had NO uniform. The kitchen staff of the school canteen wore like they're going to an operating theater. Covered frm head to toe to keep the kitchen as clean as possible. The trains were ALWAYS ONE-TIME. I had took the train in my home country a few times, but they're ALWAYS LATE. Went to the "Otaku Heaven", Akihabara, but i was a new to the anime world so i had no idea what was it until after i came back. Still, at Akihabara I bought my first cosplay costume, an Akatsuki cloak.

When i came back, I resumed my job but was missing Japan. And working till 10 /11 pm, I’m always tired n found a new way to release stress by watching anime. I ended up on an anime spree. Watching K-On, Hayate the Combat Butler, Kaichou wa Maid-sama, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I also went for Comic Fiesta, my country’s biggest anime convention. I cosplay as Tobi, as I was new to cosplay n the mask was easy to make n I find him really amusing. It really impressed me as people went all out as their favourte character. It also sparked an interest in cosplaying. Well, it’s 3.47 am so I’ll continue 2011 later during the date.
